Duration of Course: At Least 7 hours
Short Description: This class is perfect for Shogun Owners that have purchased their Tactical Shotgun for home protection, but has no formal training and a lot of questions about Safety and defensive shooting.

Identify the principal parts of a shotgun,
the types of shotgun actions and demonstrate how they function.
Reasons for having a sling
Understanding Shotgun Ammo
Ammunition Malfunctions
Demonstrate how to handle shotguns in a safe manner.
Fundamentals of Defensive shooting
Safely Shoot for Target Practice and/or Home Defense.
Violent Encounters and the Aftermath – USCCA
Understanding defensive Force vs Excessive Force.

Shotgun (pump or semi auto preferred)
10 rounds of 1 inch slug ammo
25 rounds of 00 buck ammo
Dress comfortable for indoor shooting

If you do not have a shotgun, one can be provided to you at no additional cost. **Only factory ammunition is allowed in our loner firearms.**
